Drum & Bass pioneer High Contrast (AKA Lincoln Barrett) doesn't usually make music like this. But even through this little guitar-led slice of snarling dystopia was just a fun experiment for Barrett, it was picked up by Danny Boyle for the soundtrack to his Transpotting sequel, and so it needed a music video to tie in.
The official version inter-cut scenes from the film (being watched on TV by a punter in its social club location), and mirrored the violence of the movie with patrons attacking Lincoln as he performed. But this is my director's cut, which does away with the film altogether, so you can enjoy his pain a little more.
